F&F Clothing Julia Animal Print Gold Ring Wrap Dress...AND GIVEAWAY!

Just over a week ago I attended The Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend on behalf of F&F Clothing (the new name for Clothing at Tesco).  You can read all about my day out here.

As part of the arrangement, the fab team at F&F Clothing kindly provided me with a voucher so that I could buy something from their fabulous clothing range to wear on the day.  I went crazy and ordered a variety of dresses, way outspending the value of my voucher (oops).

Before Christmas, I was contacted by the team at Curvissa to see if there was anything I wanted to try from their Spring 2013 collection.  I picked out some shoes and then completely forgot all about them as I didn't hear back for quite some time.

A few weeks ago, I had a mystery package arrive.  I love it when that happens - something unexpected arrives and it's really exciting opening the box and finding out what it contains.

The Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend 2013: The All-Comers Event (Day Two)

This weekend I attended the inaugural Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend (BPSFW).

The event comprised two days of activities: a press event on Friday afternoon, which you can read about here, and an 'all-comers' event on Saturday that was open to anyone who wished to attend.  

The Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend 2013: The Press Event (Day One)

This weekend I attended the inaugural Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend (BPSFW).

The event comprised two days of activities: a 'press day' and bloggers' meet-and-greet event on the Friday and an 'all-comers' day on the Saturday.  I attended both - the Friday afternoon under my own steam and the Saturday on behalf of the wonderful F&F Clothing.  This post is about the Friday event - my post about Saturday can be read here.

What Katie Did Morticia and Mae Corsets

For some time now, I have been lusting over the gorgeous corsets available at What Katie Did.  I have seen them on several blogs, including (of course) Georgina's at Fuller Figure Fuller Bust.

In particular, I have been itching to try the Morticia corset.

Apricot Clothing - Spring Summer 2013

You may remember that I previously posted some Apricot pieces I'd tried on a visit to M&Co a while back.  I've long been a fan of the Apricot brand and back in December 2012 I visited their Bluewater store to try some pieces on.

AX Paris Monochrome Dress

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by the lovely people at AX Paris.  I have to admit that AX Paris wasn't a brand I was overly familiar with but I knew they had concessions in New Look, Republic, House of Fraser and Debenhams.

I don't tend to buy many items from 'trendy' brands as I always assume they won't suit me or have the right dimensions to be able to fit my proportions.  I was therefore a little hesitant to work with AX Paris but after a quick browse of their website I knew I could not turn down this opportunity.

After some deliberation, I decided to go for the Monochrome Dress in white and black in size 14.

The Dollydagger VIP Shopping Experience

Last week, I was fortunate enough to be invited to a very special evening.  A handful of bloggers were specially selected to taste the Dollydagger VIP Shopping Experience at their Brighton boutique so I headed coastbound just as fast as my car would carry me!
