Summer 2016 Plus Size Swimwear and Beachwear Round Up Part 2

I have been trying out a variety of swimwear this summer and I am continuing to feature these pieces across my social media accounts. I am doing this not only to find new items for myself but also to show others what these things look like on me in the hope that I might inspire someone to try something different. Needless to say I can't afford to keep all of these items, more's the pity! But I still take the time to photograph the pieces and share them on social media so that other people can get an idea of what they look like on a plus size curvy body.

So, without any further ado, let's look at the second batch of pieces I've tried recently. For reference, you can see my first post here.

Summer 2016 Plus Size Swimwear and Beachwear Round Up Part 1

You might've noticed I've been rather absent here of late. It happened for myriad reasons but mostly because I have simply been busy with life (mainly my work life). It takes a LONG time to put together a blog review post, and I just haven't had the energy or the time to do it for the past few weeks. 

However, it's relatively quick and easy to pop a short review on Instagram, and that's where you'll mostly find me these days. For those not in the know, Instagram is a photo sharing social media platform where people post all sorts of pictures on their profiles to share with the world. IG is my favourite of all the social media platforms because it is mostly friendly - in my experience, at least - and I love scrolling through my timeline to discover all sorts of beautiful images and inspirational posts. Around a month ago I wrote about the fun I had being a model for the day for the lovely F&F Clothing at Tesco. One of the dresses I was asked to model was the Julia Plus Size Lace Panel Illusion Dress (£35, sizes 16-28).

F&F A/W 2013 Partywear Photoshoot and Video

A couple of months ago I was contacted by the F&F (also known as Clothing at Tesco) PR team to ask if I'd like to model for them in their top secret A/W 2013 partywear video.  Of course I jumped at the chance and before I knew it I was heading to London at the crack of dawn on the big day.  

We weren't allowed to mention what we were doing to anyone so I had to try to contain my excitement and not share it on social media.  I'm amazed that I managed to keep it quiet for so long!

When I arrived at the studio in Shoreditch I met up with the other fabulous bloggers who'd been chosen to take part in the shoot: Sarah, Sherin, Rebecca and Annie.

The Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend 2013: The All-Comers Event (Day Two)

This weekend I attended the inaugural Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend (BPSFW).

The event comprised two days of activities: a press event on Friday afternoon, which you can read about here, and an 'all-comers' event on Saturday that was open to anyone who wished to attend.

This weekend I attended the inaugural Official British Plus-Size Fashion Weekend (BPSFW).

The event comprised two days of activities: a 'press day' and bloggers' meet-and-greet event on the Friday and an 'all-comers' day on the Saturday.  I attended both - the Friday afternoon under my own steam and the Saturday on behalf of the wonderful F&F Clothing.  This post is about the Friday event - my post about Saturday can be read here.
