I do love a babydoll. Admittedly, as a single woman I don't get to wear them very often, but I love them all the same. They are cute and fun and sexy, and although they hide my waist - something I usually like to emphasise - I love how the skirt fabric hides what lies beneath.

When my friend Hayley at Curves 'n' Curls blog told me about a purple babydoll - the Panache Cleo Kali - she was being sent to review I was green (not purple) with envy. Goodness me, it's been a very long time since I last wrote a proper blog post. 2015 has been incredibly busy, both personally and professionally, and so I had to put a hold on blogging for a while. That's always awkward when brands have sent items to review, but fortunately I work with some really fantastic brands who are very understanding and patient. I have tried to keep a presence on social media so that I didn't completely disappear, so do make sure you are following me on all my channels to keep up to date with me (links to these are at the top of the right hand sidebar).

I have quite a few swimwear and lingerie pieces that I need to review so that's what I intend to focus on for these first few posts.

Lingerie brand Panache not only sell some gorgeous underwear, but they also make bra-sized swimwear in a range of colours, prints, and cuts. Before my Caribbean holiday earlier this year they very kindly sent me a few bikinis to try, and today I am reviewing the Panache Swim Elle Tropical Print Balconnet Bikini.

Just before I headed off on my holiday to the Dominican Republic in early April, I received a number of bikinis from large cup lingerie brand Panache. The one I am sharing with you today is the Panache Swim Eadie Balconnet Bikini Top (£34, 30-38 D-K) and Classic Pant (£20, UK sizes 8-20).

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted, so apologies for that. I have had quite a busy month and I just haven't been able to find time to sit down and blog. However, today I am back and as we are fast approaching summer here in the UK I wanted to bring you a swimwear review.

I recently reviewed the very pretty Cleo By Panache Minnie Red Spot Balconnet Bra and Briefs on my blog; today I'm lucky enough to be able to review another set sent to me by the very generous Panache team.

Step forward the Cleo Maya (bra available in sizes 28-38 D-J, briefs and thong available in sizes 8-18 (UK)).

It's been quite some time since I wrote a lingerie review on my blog so when the lovely people at Panache contacted me to ask if I'd like to review something from their Cleo range I jumped at the chance.

Panache's Cleo range is described as being 'crafted for fit; styled for fun' and I'd completely agree with this. The vibrant prints and colours are varied and exciting, and perhaps typically appeal to a younger customer, but as the fit is so superb I know these sets are worn by women of all ages.

The Cleo Minnie Red Spot (bra available in sizes 28-38 D-J, briefs and thong available in sizes 8-18 (UK)) is a pretty red and white set featuring my beloved polka dots:

Panache Superbra Melody Balconnet Bra Teal 30KK

Since starting my blog, I have been regularly asked about Panache bras so I thought it was about time I reviewed one on here.  

The reason I haven't done so before is that I tried them years ago and found the wires to be crazily wide for me and the way too cups too tall.  However, I have heard that Panache have a range of fits amongst their different styles of bra so when I placed a recent order with Bravissimo I decided to add the Panache Melody Balconnet bra to my basket to see if it worked for me.

I have long been a fan of the Cleo lingerie range by Panache.  Their designs are young, fun and a bit different.

I've previously reviewed the Cleo Zia in 32J and found the cups too small so when I saw the Cleo Marcie at a bargainous price on Amazon I knew I had to give it a whirl.

It's been a little while since I did a lingerie post (and I know some readers have been missing them!) so when the lovely people at Panache got in touch to ask me to review something from their latest collection I was absolutely over the moon!

In the past, when I have tried Panache bras I have ended up feeling disappointed.  The wide wires and shallow cups just didn't suit me, no matter how much I loved the gorgeous designs.

However, a few months back I tried the Cleo Chloe and Alexa bras in 32J and I fell in love!  Seriously - the Chloe in particular was threatening to rival my beloved Ewa Michalaks!!  I'd heard that Cleo wires were significantly narrower and the cups deeper than regular Panache bras and I found this was absolutely true.  The bras were wonderful and gave such amazing shape, uplift and support, especially for unpadded bras.

My quest for a sleep bra: Panache Sophie Support Bra

I have written before about my ongoing search for a 'sleep' bra - a bra I can wear in bed to support my heavy breasts.  It'd also be something I could wear around the house for support and comfort.

I recently read this excellent blog review of the Panache Sophie Support bra and was so impressed that I jumped onto eBay and bought one to try for myself.

Bikini bonanza!

With the gorgeous weather we were enjoying here in the south east of England (and across much of the UK) today, I decided to spend some time lying out in the garden.  I got back from a holiday on the Mediterranean two weeks ago so it was definitely time to give my fast-fading tan a bit of a top-up.  This has prompted me to write a post on bikinis as I dug one out of the drawer today to wear in my garden.


If you have read my previous posts, you will know all about my struggle to find my 'ideal' bra.  This struggle extends to bikinis, which are even more problematic as matching briefs are required.  Some of you might think that matching briefs are also a requirement with bras - having recently purchased matching sets in abundance I am now in the position to wholeheartedly agree with you!  However, up until a couple of months ago, I was forced to be satisfied with simply finding a comfy, well-fitting bra, and matching briefs were stuff dreams were made of.

My first proper post will be about bras.  I LOVE bras.  Which is a good thing seeing I have had big bazookas for as long as I can remember.  I am currently a 36J (depending on the brand), which is the largest I have ever been.  For the last few years I was a 36H but for some reason in the last six months or so my boobies decided they wanted to expand even further.  I don't mind as I love having large breasts but it did present me with the age-old dilemma of buying some new bras.


I have tried many brands over the years but for the past 6-8 years the best by far, for me at least, was Freya.  Not all of their styles, I hasten to add, but in particular the amazing Millie and the sexy Eleanor.
