Ewa Michalak CH Bikini and Shorts in Black

I recently posted a review of the Ewa Michalak PL Bikini in Black and now it's time for me to tell you about the CH version.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I discovered earlier this year that Ewa Michalak's swimwear would not be available on the website but instead could be ordered by email (via sklep@ewa-michalak.pl).

Ewa Michalak PL Bikini and Briefs in Black

Ever since I first discovered Ewa Michalak lingerie, I have been longing to try their swimwear.  I got all excited earlier this year when I saw pictures on their Facebook page of the new designs and couldn't wait to try them for myself.

Ewa Michalak CHP Kurczak

I must admit that I have never in my life felt the need to own a yellow bra. When they started appearing in shops and online a few months ago my mind was not changed and although they were eye-catching I still did not have a great desire to have one in my possession.I was recently sent several bras by Ewa Michalak to try out and lo and behold one of these was their own yellow creation: the CHP Kurczak, which means 'Chicken' in Polish.

Ewa Michalak CHP Groszki i Róże

A little while ago, Ewa Michalak brought out a new range of bras in gorgeous Easter colourways. One of these was the CHP Groszki i Róże, which literally translates as 'Peas and Roses' - so cute!

Ewa Michalak CH Karmelki

It's no secret that I love Ewa Michalak bras.  I am fortunate enough to own many of them in various designs and two different styles - PL (plunge) and CH (halfcup).  My PL collection is pretty comprehensive, however I am having to sell some of my older bras and replace with new ones as I am no longer the 36 back I was (or perhaps thought I was??) when I started this blog last autumn.

A couple of months ago I was fitted as a 30K (or perhaps even KK if they made it) in Freya bras.  I have also been wearing Ewa Michalak bras in a 32K, although I have been wondering if a 30 back would be better.

I was really thrilled when I got the chance to try out some of the latest EM designs.  First up is the CH Karmelki.

Ewa Michalak PL Lato

Wow, it's been quite some time since I last wrote a review on Ewa Michalak lingerie.  I've missed it!  Truth is, I ended up with quite a stash of lovely lingerie and couldn't afford to buy more.  Also, I came to a point where I owned and had reviewed most of the latest collections so I had taken things as far as I could at that point.

The great news is that over the past couple of months, Ewa has released yet more stunningly beautiful collections and I was really thrilled when I received the gorgeous PL Lato to review.

Ewa Michalak CH Perelka

I already own the Ewa Michalak PL Perelka and love the fact it's a new, very feminine take on the nude bra so when I saw it was available in the CH (halfcup) style, I was keen to try it out.

I had already added the PL Violet to my shopping basket on the Dopasowana website so it made sense to throw the CH Perelka in there as well as I'd be paying 27 zlotys for postage regardless of the size of my order.

Ewa Michalak CH Pawie Oka

I have never in my life owned a purple bra.  Well, actually I dyed one a while ago to make it purple, but that doesn't really count.  So you can imagine my delight when I discovered Ewa Michalak were adding a purple number to their new range a little while before Christmas in the form of the CH Pawie Oka (meaning Peacock's Eye).

Understanding the different Ewa Michalak bra styles

When placing my most recent order with Ewa Michalak I decided to try some different styles - my theory was if they fitted it would mean a whole raft of new bras would then be available to me ;-) Previously I have only ever gone for the plunge style as this is the only one available in my size range; however I have always wondered if I might be able to fit into one or some of the others.

Ewa Michalak CH Miętus 36H/80H

For a long time, I have been lusting after the gorgeous range of halfcup bras on the Ewa Michalak site, with my favourite style being the 'CH'. To quote the website, the CH style is described as 'Padded halfcup bra, perfect for low and broad neckline. Vertical seams of the cups lift the breast and give them rounded shape. The CH halfcup bra is suitable for every woman, regardless of the size and condition of her breasts. The width of the underwires and the straps is adjusted to each size.'

As none of the CH bras are available in my usual sizes of 80HH/J (36HH/J) I was hesitant about ordering any as I didn't want to be disappointed in case they were miles too small for me.

However, when I saw the stunning CH Miętus I knew I had to take a chance and place an order.

Ewa Michalak PL Onyks

The first order I placed with Ewa Michalak back in July was for a mixture of 36/80H and HH bras as that's what I wore at the time in Freya Millies and Eleanors - although I probably should have sized up at that point as the Freya Hs had been too small for a while and the HHs weren't doing the job either.

However, I found the EM H cups definitely too small and the HHs still a little on the snug side.  I therefore returned them all and reordered 36/80Js in the styles available.  This was when I found out that not all EM styles are available in all sizes and it's only the PLs (plunges) that are sold in the larger cup sizes.  At first this was not an issue as I was completely beside myself with excitement to know that soon I would be in receipt of some stunning padded foam plunge bras which gave me the most beautiful shape and uplift.  However I have always mourned the loss of the HP Czarny which sadly did not go above a 36/80H :-(

Success in finding decent bras for big boobs...

This post continues on from my previous tome, which talks about my struggle to find a bra that fitted me properly.

One fateful evening I was trawling the internet for something...anything!  I was feeling very fed up with seeing beautiful bras, only to find that they stopped at a D or G cup.  I can't recall exactly how it came about (I think I searched for something like 'best bra for big boobs') but I stumbled upon Cheryl Warner's wonderful blog http://www.investinyourchest.co.uk/.  I read about her recent order with Polish bra manufacturer, Ewa Michalak (also known as Effuniak).  She had written individual reviews on the bras she had purchased, as well as an overview of the order process and her thoughts on the whole experience.  I was blown away and could not help but take a look at Ewa's site myself, albeit having prepared myself that this surely must be too good to be true.
