When I visited Leia Lingerie last year with Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge, I was recommended by my lovely fitter, Julie, to try some bra strap cushions. I had seen these on places such as eBay and Amazon before and was keen to give them a try to see what they were like.

My quest for a sleep bra: Royce Jasmine Nursing Bra
It's been quite some time since I tried a new bra as part of my quest to find a sleep/house bra. Essentially, I am looking for a bra that is comfortable enough to wear around the house and sleep in if I wish. In my cup size (KK/L) this has proven almost impossible to find, particularly with the fact that a non-wired bra would be my preference as I find it terribly uncomfortable to sleep in a wired bra.
Some months ago, I visited Leia Lingerie at Bluewater with Georgina from Fuller Figure Fuller Bust. We received excellent service from store manager Leigh and our fitter Annie and they were aware of my search for a sleep bra. They suggested I try a nursing bra from Royce called the Jasmine.

Freya Piper Bra and Briefs
A few months ago, I went to Leia Lingerie at Bluewater shopping centre, Kent, for a fitting. I was met by the lovely manager, Leigh, who assigned fitter Julie to assist me with my lingerie shopping. I don't think I've ever met a more diligent fitter - Julie was willing to let me try anything I wanted (even if it was unlikely to fit) and even tried to help me fit into a basque. Sadly, this attempt resulted in extreme failure but Julie's commitment to her role as a fitter was never in doubt during my entire time in store.
I've already posted my reviews of the Freya Ellie and Carys, so now it's time to write about the Freya Piper.

Freya Carys Bra
Some time ago, I visited the wonderful Leia Lingerie at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent. I have already blogged about the Freya Ellie bra I was kindly gifted by manager Leigh but my review of the Carys somehow fell by the wayside - oops! - so it's now time for me to make amends and catch up.
When I was in Leia Lingerie, I was fitted by a lady called Julie. Julie knew her stuff and helped me to find several bras that fitted me. One of my missions was to get a Freya Deco that fitted me (despite the fact they only go up to GG cup) and Julie patiently helped me try various sizes but of course none fitted properly. The cups in the Deco - especially in the strapless version - run large so I was hopeful I might get lucky but I was disappointed. I have begged before and I will beg again now: PLEASE FREYA, MAKE THE DECO IN LARGER CUP SIZES! There is a huge demand for this to happen and I know that you would make many, many ladies ridiculously happy if you were to make this happen.
So, on to the Freya Carys.

A super Saturday fitting with Leia Lingerie and a review of the Freya Ellie Bra
A couple of weeks ago I had the great fortune of spending a Saturday afternoon and evening in the fabulous company of the beautiful Hanna of The Wardrobe Challenge. We went shopping to Bluewater, Kent, and had a lovely time.
One of the places we spent a great deal of time at was Leia Lingerie. I have blogged before about how much I love Leia and their friendly, welcoming atmosphere, along with the distinct lack of pressure to buy - so important! I love how passionate all the staff are about their jobs and how they ensure that every customer gets the best possible fit in the lingerie available. I have never seen a grumpy member of staff in Leia and the amiable and professional team are always ready to help anyone who requires assistance.

A fabulous Friday fitting with Leia Lingerie
Good Friday 2012 turned out to be a great one for me as I spent the majority of it in the company of the wonderful Georgina of Fuller Figure Fuller Bust. We had decided to have a day of lingerie shopping - what could be better?
We headed off to Bluewater shopping centre in Kent as we wanted to visit a Leia Lingerie store and this was our closest branch.

Bikini bonanza!
With the gorgeous weather we were enjoying here in the south east of England (and across much of the UK) today, I decided to spend some time lying out in the garden. I got back from a holiday on the Mediterranean two weeks ago so it was definitely time to give my fast-fading tan a bit of a top-up. This has prompted me to write a post on bikinis as I dug one out of the drawer today to wear in my garden.
If you have read my previous posts, you will know all about my struggle to find my 'ideal' bra. This struggle extends to bikinis, which are even more problematic as matching briefs are required. Some of you might think that matching briefs are also a requirement with bras - having recently purchased matching sets in abundance I am now in the position to wholeheartedly agree with you! However, up until a couple of months ago, I was forced to be satisfied with simply finding a comfy, well-fitting bra, and matching briefs were stuff dreams were made of.
