AX Paris Curve V Front Lace Dress Navy 18

I recently received my latest item to review from the wonderful AX Paris.  I have been trying to select a range of different items from the brand in order to try out clothes I perhaps wouldn't normally or to see how different cuts work for me.

On this occasion, I decided to have another try from the AX Paris Curve range, which stocks items from 16 to 26 (UK).  I was spoilt for choice - such a wealth of pretty dresses!

In the end, I settled on the AX Paris Curve V Front Lace Dress in Navy in a UK size 18.

F&F Clothing Julia Peplum Ponte Dress

You may have noticed I've been giving peplum dresses a try lately (you can use the search box on the right to find all my peplum reviews on here if wished).  Peplums are something that until recently I thought were only for women with smaller hips but after trying a few different styles of peplums I must admit that I am quite the fan!

The one thing I hadn't found before was a peplum dress with a v-neck.  I'd seen heaps of peplum dresses with a high neck, a round neck or a slight scoop neck, but nothing at all with a crossover or v-neck.

You can imagine how thrilled I was when I spotted the Julia Peplum Ponte Dress on the F&F Clothing at Tesco website.

Curvissa Tamaris Leather Platform Court Shoes

Before Christmas, I was contacted by the team at Curvissa to see if there was anything I wanted to try from their Spring 2013 collection.  I picked out some shoes and then completely forgot all about them as I didn't hear back for quite some time.

A few weeks ago, I had a mystery package arrive.  I love it when that happens - something unexpected arrives and it's really exciting opening the box and finding out what it contains.

Collectif Dolores Doll Navy Blue Polka Dot Dress

For some time now, I have been wondering if I should invest in a circle/swing dress.  I have been wearing bodycon-type dresses which follow my curves and show the shape of my figure, but I have always been drawn to the feminine and fun look of a circle/swing dress.

Back in April this year, I was lucky enough to try on some of Georgina's Pin Up Girl Clothing Heidi dresses.

Roman Originals Polka Dot Dress

I love a bit of polka dot.  It's such a pretty and feminine look and is smart enough for work but also fun enough for nights out.  I have been looking for a polka dot dress for a while but haven't had much luck in finding one in a stretchy fabric.  I guess that's fair enough as stretch could make the polka dots lose their circular shape, but even so I have been keeping my eyes peeled.

A few weeks ago, I came across this gem from Roman Originals:
