I'm breaking away from my marathon of reviewing Forever 21+ swimwear for a moment to bring you something bra-sized for a change in celebration of National Bikini Day.

I have been asked quite a few times if I would be reviewing anything from Curvy Kate's 2018 collection and although I can't afford to buy anything myself at the moment I decided to order a bikini, take some pictures for a review, and send it back. So that's exactly what I did!

I opted for the Curvy Kate Maya balconette bikini top and high waist briefs in red print.

Summer 2016 Plus Size Swimwear and Beachwear Round Up Part 2

I have been trying out a variety of swimwear this summer and I am continuing to feature these pieces across my social media accounts. I am doing this not only to find new items for myself but also to show others what these things look like on me in the hope that I might inspire someone to try something different. Needless to say I can't afford to keep all of these items, more's the pity! But I still take the time to photograph the pieces and share them on social media so that other people can get an idea of what they look like on a plus size curvy body.

Summer 2016 Plus Size Swimwear and Beachwear Round Up Part 1

You might've noticed I've been rather absent here of late. It happened for myriad reasons but mostly because I have simply been busy with life (mainly my work life). It takes a LONG time to put together a blog review post, and I just haven't had the energy or the time to do it for the past few weeks. 

However, it's relatively quick and easy to pop a short review on Instagram, and that's where you'll mostly find me these days. For those not in the know, Instagram is a photo sharing social media platform where people post all sorts of pictures on their profiles to share with the world. IG is my favourite of all the social media platforms because it is mostly friendly - in my experience, at least - and I love scrolling through my timeline to discover all sorts of beautiful images and inspirational posts. Kris Line Queen Body

One thing I am lacking in my lingerie drawer is a 'body'; an all-in-one garment that is sexy, supportive and practical.  You can safely assume that if Ewa Michalak sold such a thing, I would have one in every colour and design by now...but sadly they don't (HINT!).


One of my friends recently posted on Facebook that Brastop had a Kris Line body available at a bargain price so I took a look at the site.  I was interested to discover that, like Ewa Michalak, they are a Polish brand and I was keen to discover if another company could get lingerie design and manufacture equally as spot on.

I had never tried Kris Line before so was unsure as to how their items would fit me but I ordered the Kris Line Queen Body in ivory in 36HH (which was the largest cup size available)...
