New Look Inspire Jersey Peplum Dress 18

Back in the summer I was looking for a smart dress that I could wear for work; something that was suitable for business meetings, conferences, and interviews. My problem is that business dresses are often made from non-stretchy materials, so I knew I would have to scour around to find something suitable.

When browsing the New Look website, I happened upon the New Look Inspire Jersey Peplum Dress (no longer available online but was £12.99, UK sizes 18-32 (it was also available on the ASOS website)).

BiuBiu Rotterdam Wrap Top 40 BB/BBB

I've been writing a number of reviews of Polish boob-friendly brand BiuBiu lately, and that's because I have owned these items for some time and have been waiting for the weather to turn cooler so that the timing of my reviews is more appropriate.

If you haven't heard of BiuBiu before, they make reasonably-priced bust-friendly clothing that fits amazingly well and is wonderfully comfortable to wear whilst being feminine and flattering.

Today I am going to share with you the BiuBiu Rotterdam top (£19.35).

BiuBiu Gotham Top 40 BB/BBB

If you're looking for a brand that makes gorgeous, bust-friendly clothing, you'd do well to check out Polish brand BiuBiu. I've bought many items from them in the past and have never been disappointed. They pay close attention to providing an excellent fit for ladies whose boobs don't easily fit into high street clothing and stock a wide range of tops, shirts, dresses, and even jackets.

Some time ago I bought the BiuBiu Gotham top (£19.35):

BiuBiu Lauret Dress 40 BB/BBB

Several months ago I ordered a number of items from Polish bust-friendly brand BiuBiu but due to a busy schedule I am only just getting round to reviewing them on the blog now.

Today I am sharing with you my thoughts on the Lauret dress (I bought mine for £28.04 but it's currently available at the reduced price of £23.70).

If you're a regular reader of my blog you'll know I am a big fan of Polish clothing brand BiuBiu. They make clothes that are specially designed to work on curvy figures, with many items allowing for large boobs, small waists, and large hips. I've written a number of reviews of their items, including the Venice top, and today I will be telling you about the Florence top (£19.35).

George at Asda Maxi Dresses - Summer 2014

Around four years ago, when I started regularly wearing dresses for the first time since being a teenager, the first dresses I favoured were maxi dresses. They are so easy to wear, with their long, flowing skirts that go all the way down to the floor. However, over the past few years I have mostly moved away from maxis and instead favoured midi or knee length dresses as I feel they work better for my figure overall. I do still have a few maxis in my wardrobe, including some gorgeous numbers from plus size US brand IGIGI and boob friendly Polish brand BiuBiu, but they usually only get worn when I go on holiday or on a more formal occasion.

This summer, I decided to see if I could find a few everyday maxis out of which I would get more frequent wear. I came upon this decision when I was browsing the rails of my local Asda Living, where they have a reasonable range of clothing available, and quite a few maxi dresses. I tried a few dresses on in store, bought some of them, and then when subsequently back at home I ordered more online to collect from the store a couple of days later.

Urkye Black Blazer Kameleon W Czerni 40 oo/ooo

Back in November I placed an order with Polish bust-friendly clothing brand Urkye. I picked up some of their Skołowana Bakłażanowa dresses in smaller sizes (as I found the 40 oo/ooo too big (review here)) and a post about these dresses will come soon. I also bought one of their blazers; namely the Kameleon W Czerni (199 PLN, sizes 34-44 o/oo and oo/ooo (size guide here)):

BiuBiu Venice Top Teal 40 BB/BBB

Just before Christmas 2013 I placed an order with Polish bust-friendly brand BiuBiu. As well as ordering dresses, I also went for a few tops after seeing how wonderfully well they have worked for other bloggers such as Fuller Figure Fuller Bust, A Sophisticated Pair and Voluptuously Thin.

The first top I tried on from my order was the BiuBiu Venice Top in Teal (£12.83).

BiuBiu Monaco Dress 42 BB/BBB

Late last year, Polish bust friendly brand BiuBiu released some new items. There were dresses, tops, and even coats amongst the offerings. I resisted for a while but as Christmas drew closer I could no longer hold back and ended up placing an order myself. Over the next few weeks I will share these items with you; today I am going to start with the BiuBiu Monaco Dress (£34.57, sizes 34-46 B/BB and BB/BBB).

Evans Scarlett & Jo Cream Contrast Powerfit Dress 14

You may remember my previous review of the Evans Scarlett & Jo Powerfit dresses - I love them! My blue and my red dresses have been worn on a number of occasions and I think they're a great addition to any plus size woman's wardrobe.

Earlier this season, Scarlett & Jo added some new styles and designs to the range and I was extremely excited when they sent me the Cream Contrast Powerfit Dress (£40.00 - sizes 14-28).

Matalan Jersey V-Neck Dress 12

I buy a lot of my clothes online.  It's not intentional - I love shopping on the high street and being able to try things on before I buy - but there is a much wider range of style available on the internet so that is where I tend to do the majority of my shopping.

However, I was recently in my local Matalan and very much enjoyed browsing the aisles and being able to touch and feel the clothes and compare sizes side by side to see what might work best for me.

Whilst in store, I tried on this Jersey V-Neck Dress in a size 12 (was £16.00, now £10.00):

Today I will be telling you all about the gorgeous Oia dress.

Forever 21+ Femme Polka Dot Peplum Dress 1X

At the end of August, I went shopping at Westfield Stratford and London's west end with two of my lovely friends: Hanna from The Wardrobe Challenge and Mouna from Brussels Fatshion.  We had a terrific day together and literally shopped till we dropped!

Whilst at Westfield we went to Forever 21.  This is the only branch in London with a plus size section so it's always worth a look.

I had a good look through the collection and it will probably come as no surprise to you to hear that this Forever 21+ Femme Polka Dot Peplum Dress (£14.75) caught my eye:

BiuBiu Bombay Dress 42 BB/BBB

Over the past couple of weeks here in the UK the weather has taken a turn for the worse and it's been feeling a lot cooler.  I've been pulling out my old favourites from my wardrobe to help keep me warm but it's great to have a few new options, too.  I am over the moon that the lovely team at BiuBiu sent me a few items to try a while back.  Today I am reviewing the Bombay Dress.

Pepperberry Bravissimo Red Corsage Kimono Dress 14RSC

Some months ago I'd heard from friends about a dress from Bravissimo's clothing arm, Pepperberry, that worked for almost all curvy women: the Red Corsage Dress.

In theory, it looked perfect for me.  A wrap-over bust area, a cinched, ruched waist, and a tulip-shaped skirt - all things that would be on my 'dream dress design' wishlist.  Surely it would match up to my high hopes...?
