Pink Clove Teal Tartan Skater Dress 16

Just over a month ago, I reviewed the Pink Clove Red Tartan Skater Dress. It's been a big hit with bloggers everywhere and it was an instant favourite of mine. When I saw that Pink Clove had released it in a teal colourway I knew that sooner or later the beauty would be mine.

Boxing Day OOTD: George at Asda Jacquard Skater Dress 14

Boxing Day, St Stephen's Day, 26th December...whatever you call it, it's the day after Christmas and it happens to be my birthday. This year I spent the day at my brother's (as I did on Christmas Day) and again I was looking for an outfit that was versatile enough to be comfortable and stylish.

I opted for the George at Asda Jacquard Skater Dress (£14, UK sizes 8-24 (now sold out)).

Collectif Dolores Wiggle Jersey Vintage Crepe Dress Teal 16 XL

I have always wanted to own one of Collectif's wiggle dresses.  Sadly for me, the cut simply does not work and no matter what size I try there are seemingly insurmountable problems with fit.

I wear a size 10 or 12 in the Dolores Doll flared dresses but in the past I have found trying these sizes in the regular Dolores wiggle cut was a joke as I could barely get them over my head.  I even tried sizing up to an 18 but even then the hips were very tight, despite the back gaping dreadfully, there being surplus boob room and of course the waist being very baggy on me.

Now, I know my 46-30-47 figure is notoriously difficult to clothe, but having recently discovered the joys of faux vintage wiggle dresses thanks to Fuller Figure Fuller Bust and Pinup Girl Clothing, I decided to give Collectif another try.

Panache Superbra Melody Balconnet Bra Teal 30KK

Since starting my blog, I have been regularly asked about Panache bras so I thought it was about time I reviewed one on here.

The reason I haven't done so before is that I tried them years ago and found the wires to be crazily wide for me and the way too cups too tall.  However, I have heard that Panache have a range of fits amongst their different styles of bra so when I placed a recent order with Bravissimo I decided to add the Panache Melody Balconnet bra to my basket to see if it worked for me.

I have been meaning to write a review of this dress for several weeks but other commitments have meant that I've had to put it to one side.  Now I am delighted to be able to tell you about my latest Dolores Doll dress from the amazing Collectif.

Marks and Spencer Per Una Teal Flower Print Dress

About a month ago, I visited the Marks and Spencer Outlet at Ashford's Designer Outlet.  It comprises a range of stores selling items at knock-down prices, and there's usually many a bargain to be had.

The items sold in the M&S outlet store are usually end of the line or last season's/year's stock.  None of that really matters to me - I just want to get fabulous clothing at reduced prices!

Clothing at Tesco: Stella Morgan Ruche Sleeveless Dress

When I was at Plus North in early July, I was fortunate enough to win a £100 online voucher to spend on the Clothing at Tesco website.  I was really excited about this - it's always great to have free clothes!  And I hadn't looked on the Tesco site for some time so I was looking forward to being able to take my pick from the available items.

A few weeks after the event, I sat down and had a good look on the Clothing at Tesco site to decide what I would like to try.  I knew I was looking for a dress from the site and there was a great selection to choose from.

In the end, I went for this beautiful Stella Morgan Ruche Sleeveless Dress:

Monsoon Teal Viper Dress

When I was up in Leeds in July for Plus North, I had a couple of shopping trips to the wonderful White Rose shopping centre.  I visited various stores whilst there, including the fabulous Evans, but this post is about a gorgeous dress I managed to snare from Monsoon.

I can't say I am a regular shopper in Monsoon as the few times I have been in there I have not found anything I liked.  However I was delighted to find that this teal Viper dress was in the sale for £27.50, reduced from £55:

Eliza Parker Portofino by Day Dress

I had never heard of American plus size clothing brand Eliza Parker until I read a review of the Monaco dress by the amazing Mhairi at Lilybobomb's Lovely Lumps.  She made the dress look absolutely stunning and I was most envious!

Recently I was on the lookout for something special to wear for a posh work do and I was over the moon when Jessica, the founder of Eliza Parker, was kind enough to offer me a dress of my choice to see if it would be suitable.

It was so hard to choose from all the gorgeous numbers on offer but after a couple of choices ended up being out of stock I settled on the Portofino by Day dress in Teal.
