Ewa Michalak S Szykuś Bra 32KK/70KK

Amongst the recent box of S bras I was kindly sent by Ewa Michalak was the S Szykuś. (You can read my previous reviews here: S Porcelanka, S Satine.)

The S Szykuś is a simple black bra in the new 'S' style: a lightly foam padded balconette bra that centres the breasts on the body and is ideal for anyone with softer breast tissue.

I was sent the S Szykuś bra in 32KK/70KK to try.

The lightly padded foam cups are overlaid with a soft black microfibre material that is stretchy and slightly shiny. Along the front of the bra - at the centre gore, around the underwires and round to the wings - there is pretty black lace overlaid on a beige material. There is a cute bow decoration at the top of the centre gore and there is a simple black bow at the point where the straps meet the tops of the cups.

The 32KK/70KK fits me very well. The cups provide good coverage and lift, centre and support my breasts. Lined with cotton for comfort, the cups have removable pads that can help even out asymmetrical appearance, but I keep them in place to get a bit more support from the bra.

As with all Ewa Michalak bras, the wires are wonderfully narrow, which is rare for bras at this end of the cup size range. They are a little taller under the arms that my PL (plunge) bras but they do not poke. Instead they encapsulate my breast tissue perfectly both at the centre gore, which lies flat, and at the sides. As you can see from my photos, I get a great cleavage with the S Szykuś but thanks to the taller cups there is no chance of spillage as the day goes on. I know some people find that with PL bras they have to adjust their boobs throughout the day to ensure they weren't spilling or in the wrong position. I didn't usually have that issue but the S is definitely a better option if this is something you experience with PLs.

The S Szykuś's band fastens with four rows of three hooks and eyes. I found the band to be a fraction tight and although I can wear it without one I have been wearing it with an extender to begin with to allow the band to loosen up a little.

The straps of the S Szykuś are great. They adjust completely and have a slight ridge embellishment along the edges so that the adjusters do not slide and become loose during wear. They are thicker than those of the S Satine, which folded almost immediately, and I am pleased to report absolutely no occurrences of folding with the S Szykuś's straps.

I absolutely adore the simple design of the S Szykuś bra, and the added front lace section gives it a special look. This is a super bra for wearing every day but it would also be perfect for special occasions. As the straps are completely plain it would be a great bra for wearing discreetly underneath a sheer or lacy top as they would not draw attention to themselves.

The S Szykuś bra has already become one of my firm favourites - I just wish I had the matching bottoms to complete the set!
