The S style of bra is designed for women with softer breast tissue that tends to move around in bras and even overspill on occasion. The fuller cups help to minimise this and the rounded, uplifted shape gives superb support.
I was sent the S Bambino bra in 32KK/70KK:
The S Bambino has lightly padded foam cups overlaid with a soft satiny material in grey with pale pink spots. The cups are edged with pink lace and have a pink lace frill along the outer edges. A nice added detail is the cute bow and mini pompoms on the centre gore - adorable!
The cups have removable pads in the lower section to help correct the appearance of asymmetry. I am wearing the pads in these photos and as you can see they make the cups a fraction too small for me as I am quadboobing in some of the shots. However, I keep both pads in place as I like the additional uplift they give my breasts as well as the extra sturdiness they give to the bra.
The band fastens with three rows of three hooks and eyes and the 32/70 size is spot on for me, although it is perhaps the stretchiest band of the S bras I have tried recently. It fits comfortably without riding up and does not rub or dig in. I do not need to wear it with an extender as it fits on the loosest hooks.
As ever, the narrow EM underwires work perfectly for me, encasing my breast tissue comfortably. The centre gore sits flat on my sternum and the wires under my arms are a good height and do not poke or chafe. The cups are wonderfully deep and suit my up front boobs so well.
I'm sorry to report that the straps are slightly disappointing. Perhaps it is because of my heavy breasts but I do find that they dig in when I wear this bra for an extended period. The straps themselves have limited stretch, but unfortunately the ribbon that has been sewn down the centre of each strap is not stretchy at all and so forms a sometimes painful pressure point on my shoulders. This issue can be minimised by wearing bra strap cushions but it's a pity to ruin the appearance of such a lovely looking bra with these pads. In due course I may remove the ribbon from the straps but I am not sure how easy this would be to do.
That said, the straps do adjust fully (the sliders can pass over the start of the ribbon section) and the adjusters stay in place, even during a full day's wear.
