I love blue and turquoise so this set was bound to be a winner with me in terms of colours. I opted for both the top and bottoms in my standard F21+ size of 1X, which they label as being equivalent to a UK 20 but I think it's more like a UK 18, or maybe even a 16.

I think you can tell from my face that I loved the aesthetic of this bikini! The light aqua/teal combination is absolutely fab and would look terrific on all skin tones. I quite clearly don't have a tan here (not even a fake one) but even on my pale complexion the colours look great.

The bikini top has adjustable straps and the band fastens by sliding the looped end onto a metal hooked clasp. There are three tightness options so you can wear the band tighter or looser as you wish.

Sadly the bust coverage is insufficient for my 34LL boobs, and I had quadboob as well as spillage at the sides. I don't look for a 100% perfect fit in swimwear but this was bordering on indecent and I was at significant risk of baring much more than I intended!!

Even for just lounging on the beach or by the pool, I would be too nervous in this bikini top that I would have an inadvertent nip slip or maybe even have a whole boob pop out! However, if your boobs are smaller this won't be a problem so please don't discount this set based on my awkward proportions.

The 1X bottoms were a great fit on me. I like the fact the sides are very narrow, so minimal tan lines, and the front is fairly low rise but high enough to sufficiently cover my lower abdomen area. Looking at these photos I can see the butt coverage borders on skimpy in appearance but the bottoms felt very comfortable on and I did not get a wedgie or have to readjust them at all.

So, overall this set is fab but the top is sadly too small in the bust for me. That doesn't stop me recommending it to you, though, as it's a great bikini that I would have loved to be able to wear on holiday myself.

The top and bottoms each cost £16.00. If this is the set for you, click here to buy it now!
